Day-by-Day Itinerary
Nairobi → Masai Mara
Depart Nairobi 7:00 AM via the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint. Arrive Mara lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive: Big Five, cheetah, and during migration season (Jul–Oct), position at the Mara River for crossing opportunities.

Full-Day Game Drive — Masai Mara
Full day in the Mara with packed picnic lunch. Explore the Triangle, Talek zone, and Mara River area. Africa's highest predator density — lions, leopards, cheetahs daily. Optional hot air balloon at dawn ($480/person).

Masai Mara → Lake Nakuru National Park
Optional morning Masai Village visit. Drive to Lake Nakuru through the Rift Valley. Afternoon game drive: pink flamingo spectacle on the lakeshore (up to 1 million birds), white and black rhino sightings, lions, leopards, buffalo, giraffe, and waterbuck. Lake Nakuru is a fenced sanctuary — rhino sighting probability is excellent.

Lake Nakuru → Amboseli National Park
Morning game drive around Lake Nakuru. Drive south towards Amboseli, crossing the equator. Arrive at Amboseli lodge in time for afternoon game drive. First views of Kilimanjaro — Africa's highest peak — rising above the plains. Large elephant herds come to the swamps in late afternoon creating unforgettable photography.

Full-Day Game Drive — Amboseli
Full day in Amboseli. Kilimanjaro is clearest in early morning — the iconic sunrise game drive with elephants against the snow-capped peak is unmissable. The park hosts over 1,600 free-roaming elephants and excellent lion populations. Visit the Observation Hill for panoramic views across the swamps and plains.

Amboseli → Nairobi
Early morning game drive with final Kilimanjaro views. Breakfast and check-out. Drive to Nairobi, arriving early afternoon. Drop-off at hotel or JKIA airport. Safari ends.
